Training with North Carolina Dogs:
- Better understand your dog
At each consultation we’ll discuss dog learning, motivation, behavior, and body language supported by animal behavior science. We’ll help you sort through dog training myths, so you can really understand your dog.
We use the most advanced, family-friendly, reward-based training techniques that are truly humane and effective. Our training focuses on achieving the results you need while providing for your individual dog’s well-being.
- Building the strongest bond possible with your dog
Positive reinforcement training can enhance your communication and help you form a special bond with your canine best friend. Our training is geared to help you achieve your dream dog.
- Make life easier and have fun
Dogs are fun, but we understand their behavior can be frustrating and stressful to people at times. We can help you teach new behaviors, so you can have more freedom to enjoy activities with your dog again.
We want you to be comfortable with your new behavior/ training knowledge and skills after you’ve worked with us, therefore we provide email and phone support. Your success is important to us.

Obedience and Behavior Problems:
We also work on solving behavior problems such as house training issues, chewing, digging, food stealing, barking, jumping up, play biting, submissive urination, fence
fighting, fear and aggression, and others.
Puppy Socialization and Training:
Socialization consists of introducing your puppy to new people, dogs, places, and things, and making sure he actively enjoys them. This is a crucial step toward preventing future fear and aggression problems in your puppy.
The socialization period is limited in puppies, ranging from about 3 to 12-18 weeks of age. In addition, we teach obedience behaviors, house training, crate training, and chew training.
Shelter and Rescue Dogs:
Training can help your shelter or rescue dog adjust to your home, and learn new rules and behaviors, such as house-training and manners.
We have extensive experience working with shelter dogs of different breeds, and can help your new dog make a smooth transition into your home and family.
Kids and Dogs:
We teach dog manners and provide coaching instruction to help kids learn to be gentle with dogs. Our management techniques ensure everyone in the family is safe and happy.
All of our training methods are safe for children to use, and work well with dogs of all ages including puppies and various breeds.
